On the hills of Montebello one will find acacia forest, olive- and fruit trees which create a beautiful backdrop to the surrounding vineyards in the area. The Mentis diversified their production by making olive oil and honey in addition to wine.
Bees are crucial for the pollination of flowering vineyards and thus the bees are kept in the forest and well looked after. The honey which is collected is very sweet and is available and distinguished by these varieties: Acacia, cherry, chestnut and multi-flower honey.
